The William C Ferguson Memorial Chapel at the University of Central Arkansas was designed by UCA’s primary architect, Bruce Anderson. Dedicated in 1964, it is named for Dr. William C. Ferguson Sr., who served as Dean when the university was known as the Arkansas State Teachers College. A Mid-Century Modern design in the shape of a Greek cross, the William C Ferguson Memorial Chapel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the University of Central Arkansas’ Historic District.
