Vol Walker Hall was the University of Arkansas’ original library. Funded by the Federal Public Works Administration, a New Deal program, it was built in 1935 and named for James Volney "Vol" Walker, an attorney and University of Arkansas alumnus. The Classical Revival structure is listed on the National Register. Today, Vol Walker Hall along with a massive addition and renovation completed in 2013 is home to the entire Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design. The perfect gift for students, alumni, faculty, and architects alike — great for home, office, or dorm decor. This vibrant keepsake honors the legacy and tradition of Vol Walker Hall.
