The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith was founded as Fort Smith Junior College (FSJC) in 1928. An adjunct to the local high school, it remained there until 1950 when it moved to the county poor farm at the edge of town. Changing names to Westark Junior College in the 1960s and and then Westark Community College in the 1970s, it merged with the University of Arkansas in 2002. The perfect gift for students, alumni, faculty, and fans alike — great for home, office, or dorm decor. This vibrant keepsake honors the legacy and tradition of University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
