Part of She's Arkansas Heritage Collection, the Orpheum Theatre sits at the corner of South Main and Beale Streets in downtown Memphis. Opened in c. 1928, the theater’s history on this corner stretches back to the Grand Opera House that was built in 1890 and destroyed by fire in 1923. The Orpheum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
