The Estes Stadium at the University of Central Arkansas is home to the Central Arkansas Bears football team. The purple and gray striped field was named for Dan Estes, coach of the Bears from 1915 to 1932. During the 1920’s UCA had a live mascot named “Big Boy” a black bear owned by Louis Sharpe Dunaway and his family.
