The Chi Omega Sorority House at Ole Miss is set along Rebel Drive in Oxford, MS. Built in 1962, the house has been renovated several times, most recently in 2023. Boasting some 40,000 square feet and 90 bedrooms, the Chi Omega house meets the needs of the Tau Chapter’s 500 members.
Founded at the University of Arkansas in 1895, the Tau chapter of Chi Omega first came Ole Miss in 1889. The Tau chapter shut down in 1911 due to a Mississippi law banning Greek organizations from Mississippi campuses. It was reinstated in 1926 after the law was repealed and been a part of Ole Miss ever since.
