Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden
A collection of more than 90 works and counting, Little Rock’s Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden is a blossoming public art project that is quite literally growing along the banks of the Arkansas River. Whether fanciful, whimsical or thought-provoking, each sculpture is seemingly chiseled out of the very earth it is planted in, forged from natural materials and nestled among the park’s gorgeously landscaped beds, paths, and terraces.
Find the bulk of the collection on the backside of the Marriott Hotel; more sculptures are scattered throughout Little Rock’s Riverfront Park and around the city. The garden grows annually thanks to a commission competition funded by the non-profit organization, Sculpture at the River Market (SATRM).
