Part of She's Arkansas Heritage Collection, the 1836 Club is a private club for business professionals perched on Cantrell Hill in Little Rock. Named for the year Arkansas achieved statehood, it is also known as the McDonald-Wait-Newton House. A Second Empire structure dating to c. 1869, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
